A la Luna! - To the Moon and back

"A la Luna"/"To the Moon and Back" is an animated short film I did for my grandmother based on an anecdote from my childhood. She appreciated it quite a bit.

I tried a mostly lineless style with cute characters, resembling a children´s storybook.

Attack on Suarez

Due to the severe veredict by FIFA regarding Luis Suarez´s actions, this animated metaphor homaging Attack on Titan came to be.

Put together in 24 hours, trying to emulate the looks and feel of Shingeki no Kyojin is quite a task and not something to be taken lightly. I am pretty happy with the final result even if I had to let go of some shots I would have liked in order to meet the deadline.

Mutargo In Space

Mutargo in Space is an animated short film which homages the old school superhero cartoons.

It is based on my very own mutant champion featured in my Nueverso comics line and premiered in the Montevideo Comics 2014 convention with a great reception by the audience. It features voices by my sister and my father in our first animated work together.

Portent Pinups and Guest Art

I was asked by Magnus to make a pinup of the main character for the webcomic´s launch and later to make some filler art and character design for some of the villains, the Monkey Masterminds. I had a neat time working on those, evil genius monkeys are enticing.

Costume Concept Design and Storyboard

I was involved in both the storyboarding and the costume design for this ad featuring a super heroine.
The original design was going to be closer to the famouse Catwoman character, but in the process it evolved into its own character, with the client asking for some changes to help with the branding and the appeal of the lead actress.
